Edit history

Spawned from the dirty, seedy and somewhat schizophrenic Adelaide band scene of yesteryear, The Echoes of You combine spacey shoe gazing melodies with monstrous fuzz-epics leaving audiences in a permanent state of possessed reverberation. Starting as a 2 piece back in 2007, the band scoured the streets in search of its imminent lineup, and in doing so, managed to form a 4 piece collective who share an obscene fervour for all things seminal, vintage and emotive. The result is a blend of brooding melodies and melancholy. Throughout 2008, The Echoes of You played a stream of shows across Adelaide and Melbourne, and have recently finished recording their EP at Hillside Recordings with Matt Hills (Wolf and Cub, Fire! Santa Rosa, Fire!) which is due out mid 2009.
