The Edison Code. The Edison Code play rootsy, rock music with tight, strong grooves. Their guitar driven sound contains catchy melodic hooks and storytelling lyrics. Altho’ keeping focused on the latest sounds and trends their approach is that of the 60’s artists like the Rolling Stones, the Band and the Kinks. They like to keep their sound raw and honest. With solid rhythms being the backbone of their music they embrace the chance to improvise in their live set. They say they have never played the same show twice, keeping every performance unique, fresh and driving with a spontaneous energy. Under other names such as Villain and the Bedfords they have supported classic Aussie bands such as The Mentals, Choirboys, Gangagang and Dragon.
