The Collaborative efforts of Scott Davy and Matthew Semmens bought ‘The Elevators’ to fruition during 07’. These two aspiring musicians met at high school and proceeded to work on projects through their tertiary studies at Newcastle Conservatorium. Working the local live music scene in Newcastle provided many opportunities to diversify and saturate themselves with varying influences that have emerged in their writing style. There 2009 ep release 'The Elevators' is a cross section of stylistic interpretation verging on the roots and country feel while maintaining a rock edge thickening the texture with some cutting edge keyboard sequencing. During 2008 ‘The elevators’ put together a live line up for the resonate band competition making to the semi's. The band now performs regulary at local original nights and are continuing their song writing journey in the studio.

We are 16 years old and have been writing music together as a duo since the start of 2012. Our sound consists of fuzzed up guitar and raw drums, with a psychadelic twist to many aspects of our sound. We are currently from NSW and perform around the place whenever we can.
