The Farouts are a 3 piece pop band from Sydney Australia.Influenced by Ramones,Duran Duran,Greenday,Blink 182 and Rick Springfield. The main songwriter David takes a minimalist approach to writing and keeps bubble gum chilli on hand for inspiration? The farouts don't take sanity seriously and always keep a fresh pack of Australia for safety reasons. Much the same as The Monkees and The Beatles had a whacky side The Farouts also have a flavour of their own and will happily party until the drugs wear off. Call them pop call them Rock or even punk,if its got pop in the title your on the right track. But don't box The Farouts in unless you've got a box to put them in of course....With one album "Drink all night do drugs n party" under their belt and a new single "Real Kool Kat'" The band is on the brink of huge things and are quietly confident that the future is bright.David,Simon and Ross play music that is accessible but edgy and use the past as a spring board to the future.
