The Faults' frenzied sound is akin to a punch in the face from the Strokes during a massage from the Beach Boys at Woodstock 1969. The duo borrows inspiration from across the pre-1975 musical soundscape, to build a sound that ignores the limitations of the two-piece “establishment”. After a huge 2011 playing Sydney's best and worst venues to crowds ranging from 3-300 people, the inner-west kids aspire to shake your hip faces until the sun burns your pale hung-over skin. After the warm reception of their first self titled 4-track, the Faults are back with a new single “Patients”, the title track from their forthcoming sophomore EP, produced by Sydney musical troubadour Darren Cross (Betty Airs, the E.L.F). The Faults are ready for axxion.
