The Fighting Fish are Born out of gritty suburbia, TFF brings a unique take to hip-hop. Combining vinyl based sampling with a background in music to create an artwork of many angles. With the soul of Senegal, a walking rhythm section and a healthily unhinged poet you are presented with The Fighting Fish. As much as their studio recordings give you a great grasp of the flavor, it's the live show that makes you a true fan. After releasing their debut album 'Sashimi', together with their record label Ackeron st Records, they have been playing in their hometown of Newcastle. A sound defined by a love of hip hop, reggae, and the groove, the Fish reflect these things.
