Wollongong's The Fights mix youthful, edgy guitar pop with rock 'n' roll melodies that can capture a room. Sam Lathlean (vocals, guitar) and Matt Baxter (bass guitar, vocals) thought up the band mid-2008, in the wake of previous individual bands. Joined by brother Shaun Baxter (guitar, vocals) and Todd Simpson (drums) the handsome quartet set about writing songs drawing from their joint and separate influences. Seriously serious about their music, the boys don't hesitate to put on an energetic live show.
