Formed in 1996 by Theo Poulakidis and Savvas Michael playing on and off again in between other musical projects. Staying within the realms of rock, Fire aims to give a twist to the uniform art with some ethnic touches coming from their Greek roots.

Raw, energetic and organic, The Fire’s musical ambition is to make as many people dance, sing and think as they can. Drawing inspiration from the likes of The John Butler Trio, Jeff Buckley, Elbow and an endless array of other artists, The Fire are creating a unique brand of acoustic folk/rock mixed with tasty morsels of funk and reggae that is sure to appeal to a range of music lovers. The Fires live shows are as memorable for the music that they play as they are for the passion that they’re played with. You can expect to see them on the Ellen and Dr. Phil shows respectively or alternatively at one of many venues or backyards around the southeast.
