Indy Folk band “The Funkenswinkles” are set to bring an Indy Folk sound to your ears! Touring their new EP “Live at 926” Dave, Steve & Eugene will combine with their vocal harmonies and earthy Acoustic presentation of their original tunes written about Rural Australia and David’s past life as a paramedic. David originally from Dubbo, but now resides in Albury Wodonga cite leaders of the easy listening & Folk rock genre’s as their biggest musical influences. “Paul Kelly, The Waifs & Josh Pyke are all Australian flavours that are in our music and our aim is to be a part of this great collection of Australian music” So what is our final aim? “Something that when you listen to it, you can’t help but your feet, and want to move to it” Daly said. “It’s not about blasting everyone’s ears off – it’s about playing something for the people that are in front of you, to put a smile on their face.
