The Futants are three completely dysfunctional people whose only form of sanity has been found in playing music. Formed in 2005 vocalist Catherine, drummer dj Sham, & guitarist Tones spent much of last year writing & road testing their new material...& when they finally agreed on the best bits, completed their debut ep- Futants. Their musical background, along with past songs from previous songwriting sessions together, has given each of them experience in the live circuit; a S.A.M.I.A nomination; and seen them on interstate & international independent compilations-helping bring them exposure & experience. They also collaborate as Technine, producing drum'n'bass, with a few tracks released on independent label 5158. This means they are a well adjusted, tight & musicaly-intricate unit...Music lovers of all types will enjoy the diversity & spirited flair of the Futants.
