The Gall have been playing venues and festivals throughout Eastern Australia since 2005. Their music engages with contemporary reality and features traditional instruments such as whistle, mandolin, bagpipes, fiddle, banjo and didgeridoo.

A recording project of two close friends from different musical backgrounds. Flats, from bands such as Durbeyfield, Grizzly Jim Lawrie and Flats and the friendly few has been swapping music with Mardo, from Hercules in New York and Bastards of Rhythm, for many years. Through Sunday afternoon jam sessions, they have slowly developed an album with a distinctly individual sound.
