THE GALLANTRY BIO: Formed at the beginning of 2006, five like minded individuals with five different visions yet one common goal; to create brutal, thought provoking melodic thrash inspired death metal, with a rock twist by adding catchy as fuck melodic choruses to the mix, giving each song even more depth and emotion. Taking the name THE GALLANTRY they set out to destroy every pub, club, rat infested dive and backyard with a generator they could get they’re hands and power boards on. At a glance, it’s easier to categorise The Gallantry as yet another metal/hardcore band from Melbourne than to consider them something with more substance, a completely different beast all together. With obvious influences like IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, DARKEST HOUR and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, but also incorporating everything they love about music, taking queues from such bands as NAPALM DEATH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, LAMB OF GOD, THE HAUNTED, PANTERA, DOWN, CAVE IN, CARCASS, AT THE GATES, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER
