The Glamour Collective hail from Adelaide. Formed in 2004 its members can rotate around a basic core, similar to that of the Grateful Dead or Fairport Convention. The agenda is rock with all its offshoots being considered, depending on the mood of the Collective's songwriters and contributors. The band has already had major exposure at the Adelaide Film Festival, producing music for its Fake Film Festival (the featured track has become its signature tune) in 2005, 2007 and 2009 and starring as a "fake" band in a short film. With many years of live gigging under their belts, the members are looking to produce quality songs, but are not concerned about following current trends and styles (basically whatever sounds good gets a jamming). The future for the band is the search for a long-term recording contract, wider exposure and a chance to go overseas.
