Sleep-deprived, overly emotional art-rockers with off-kilter grooves, sun-kissed melodies, dopamine-stimulating hooks and melancholic detours A collective cry for help who feel equally at home filling the awkward silences in a therapist’s office as they do on your chill beats playlist. Winners of the Fender Player Plus Competition and featured on The Guardian's "Ones to Watch" With praise and support from Triple J, BBC, Pilerats, Fender, and The Guardian, and collaborations with Nate Brenner (Tuneyards), Cal Barter (Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile), and Alex Newport (Bloc Party) under their belt, The Great Emu War Casualties’ impressive release catalogue bears witness to an indie brilliance that is ripe for a wider audience.
