The Haemorrhaging Sphincters - an outrageous name for an outrageous outfit. The band's songs hit on very common emotions and situations, as well as the not-so-common, that fans can easily relate to; a girl you love beyond words despite the fact she's outrageously stupid; the heartbreak of losing a loved one who's cheated and the desire to watch her house burn; that lawn parasite that just wouldn't stop gorging on your privates - the list goes on! Formed by two mates (former DicKnot members) in 2006 as a hung-over attempt to make a worse death-metal song than Anal Cunt's 'All Our Fans Are Gay', the 'Sphincters' failed miserably with the creation of their (surprisingly) locally acclaimed demo 'The Siege of Leningrad'. Since, the band has written and performed a number of songs reflecting on the weirder side of life with recordings to follow, though no album deal is expected to be made. Ever. ..
