When I was young, I reckoned when tradesmen bent over and exposed their bum crack, that is was a good place to put a pencil. When I grew up, I tried it, once!! And found out why we tradies put it behind our ear. Tradesmen build the Aussie dream. They are loyal, skilled and fair dinkum and we whistled when we worked long before the 7 dwarfs.
