I'm from Drouin, Gippsland. I used to collect old 78 record players from fete's when I was a kid. They'd always just give em to me at the end of the day. I'd play Polkas and olde time 78 music til they broke. My first casette was Summer '87 from Aunite Lynette. My first music purchase was Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic cassette, I drank that shit up. Then a got a John Lee Hooker tape and ran it raw. Dr Octagon showed me hip-hop didn't have to want to shoot people to like beats. These tracks were made in a week of escapism and self indulgence a few years ago. They are rough and need tweaking, but they're doing no good on my hard drive.
