"The Humbletones" aka songwriter Mark Dabin and friends {Nick Tomlinson drums, and Gunga Ashworth vocals}. Released his debut album Dec 2010. A dynamic ten track debut album of melodic acoustic groove music. A harmonically rich blend of acoustic guitar, bass, drums and insightful lyrics, complimented by a natural, raw and honest music production. The Humbletones songwriting and harmonic palette draws inspiration from the likes of Neil Finn, Dave Matthews, Jakob Dylan and Damien Rice to name a few. All the songs originated on the acoustic guitar which remains true to the finished albums sound, giving it a lovely rich organic feel. Lyrically the songs reflect on universal themes of personal triumph, love, hardship, environmental and political issues, and social observations.
