Jeremy and Jesse met in their music class in 2008 and soon learnt they both had a taste for the heavier styles (In that same class was Eden Holmes, who sings female vox on "The Grey Man"). Soon they recruited Talor and Sam to play for their HSC performance pieces, and from there The Ikaros Trial began to take shape. Brett Joined the band later when Jesse approached him after seeing him perform at a local Battle of the bands. Gaining a reasonable following at school we have now set off to spread our unique style of chaotic energy to the rest of the world.

A young 5 piece metalcore band from Wagga Wagga NSW. All 5 are best of mates, and are here to do what they love. Driven all by the same passion, and the same dream of music. All 5 members of the band come from different backgrounds, and have different personalities but are binded together by their love of metal. The band draws influence from many bands such as August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, The... Devil Wears Prada, Slipknot, Mudvayne, and all the way to bands such as Tool, A Perfect Circle and Muse. Because of the different members inspiration from different bands, The Ikaros Trial are never scared to venture outside their genre. Originating from Kooringal high school in Wagga Wagga where the band all originally mett and formed the first line up with Talor Hareb on lead guitar. After over a year of playing with Talor and some decent gigs Talor parted ways with the band and the band picked up their current lead guitarist, Patrick Chambers. With a fresh line-up, an EP, and a tour
