We're The Inner West from Sydney's inner-western suburbs and we hope you like our songs. We met through friends and online and share a love of classic soul and live funk grooves. We composed, recorded and produced the songs with live guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and vocals in a hyper-real contemporary soul groove style. Before recording, we road-tested the songs live with a residency at the Marrickville Bowling Club and donated the proceeds to a local youth centre for disadvantaged kids. Our members include a forensic scientist, a teacher, a web designer and a quantitative analyst, but our great love is music.
