The Irrits performances have ignited Brisbane's live music scene with energy and enthusiasm. This is a band that loves Punk Rock and knows how to have fun! Jonny Irrit (Jonathan Shorley) has been a songwriter for ten years, stringing together catchy philosophy and grinding power chords. Padlock (Ben Carr) brings his background of 90's Punk beats to the band, mixing them into pure genius to bombard your ears. Last, but never least, there is Mickhead (Michael Shay) adding boppy Bass lines to complete trio of energetic upstarts. Listening to The Irrits original songs will hopefully give you something to relate to whilst giving you a taste of excitement, fun & a dash of nostalgia.
