What started out as a bunch of dms, half worked demos and memes quickly turned into a wholesome group project for Rowan, Chris and Marko in the early quarter of 2021. Discovering familiar passions for drum & bass infused pop music among each other, the three young producers were able to bring each of their respective visions to the table - despite being from different parts of the world and never meeting in-person. Fast-paced elements of drum & bass with melancholic guitars, groovy synthesisers and heart-warming vocals paint a picture of an angsty teenager who didn’t quite make it through university and wears their heart on their sleeve instead… thus leading to the creation of “The Ivy Rejects”.
