The Jane Does are a four-piece rock, pop, and punk-inspired band from Sydney, formed by cousins Rebecca Halley (lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitarist) and Joanne Bennett (bass player, songwriter, and vocalist) as a post-COVID reevaluation of life. Soon after, they were joined by lead guitarist Matt Allison, and together they began to forge their unique sound. In 2025, Tim Savage’s dynamic and energetic drumming completed the lineup. The band recently recorded ten songs for their upcoming album with Jay Whalley at Sydney’s Pet Food Factory in Marrickville, which was mastered by Melbourne’s David Forcier. With an anticipated release date in early 2026, The Jane Does are ready to be discovered.
