Spewing forth from Tasmanias toxic capital, Burnie, in the early 90's these underground favourites have endured turgid rigours to morph into international act.... the janets .... often the favoured choice of London beat mixers, Berlin Construction workers and Parisian rioters the janets rip out an album of dynamic sonic intensity and pure rock. Recorded with Producer Matt Groom at his Tasmanian studio over the last four years, this latest release on his In-toX label is art rock at its gut wrenching, tinitus inducing best.... "the janets" are ready to be loved! Heavily influenced by late 80's and early 90's punk and indie bands, the complexities of the internal combustion engine and an infernal blend of Boags red and draught, from these essential ingredients "the janets" have crafted their own style of granite like guitar music.
