Edit history

The Junkrats started as a 3 piece band with Aaron Maggs playing Bass, Nick Angeli playing Guitar and Ben Speechley playing Drums. With time to kill they sat around playing the same 3 songs they knew repeatedly until the neighbours finally told them to shut the fuck up! It was around this time that Nick wrote a song called Broadband Blues: a 40 second punker about paedophiles, the freedom of the internet, bullshit artists, ripping off Metallica and obesity. The next song simply entitled Goon Bong came quickly after that. Then with what little talent he could muster up Aaron wrote his first song titled TV Junkie. The band have many songs addressing different subjects that interest them such as: Hanging with mates, Drinking, Drugs, Rock 'n' Roll, Being yourself and having fun. Thats what it's about hey? The band started off early in 2007 with Battle of the Bands in sight. We came together alot faster then we thought we would. No, we didn't win but we look forward to it again this
