The Kennedy Crime is an Australian music project created by Melbourne based songwriter- musician, Tex Kennedy. During the second coronavirus lockdown of Melbourne in 2020, Tex began writing and developing a collection of Latin and Tropical inspired music. Unable to sing himself, Tex set out to scout local vocalists to bring these songs to life. Jesse Lewis (Next to the Ocean), Natalie Broome (Violet Skies), Alexandra Samulenok (Love Homicide) and Matt Coulter (on trumpet) are the talented Melbourne based musicians that form The Kennedy Crime.
