WAMi nominated Perth psych-folk-rock 5 piece The Lammas Tide take their cues from the past and deftly bring them into the present. Drawing on psychedelic folk luminaries like Jefferson Airplane, Jethro Tull and Cream, The ' Tide combines a clear love of traditional folk tale-telling with an abiding passion for the psychedelic electric. With a subtle melodic approach incorporating fiddle, Rhodes, riffs, fuzz and bluesy inflections, The Lammas Tide brings depth, soul and a fresh energy to classic 60s organ-driven psychedelia. The band's debut album 'Barefoot Electric' was released in September 2014. “These sounds are from the heartland of psych and yet it's so different from the psych everyone else is doing right now… What you get is refreshingly energetic folk-rock.” - 4ZZZ FM "The kigpins of vintage psychedelic rock" - Xpress Magazine “The Lammas Tide is an exciting band to see. All [members] are brilliant in their own right.” – Faster Louder
