Chaotic metal outfit The Last Martyr have gone from strength-to-strength since first unleashing their unique brand of metalcore, nu-metal and electro-fused dark rock. Their 2021 single Hindsight, saw the band earn triple j rotation and Unearthed feature artist before rounding the year out with triple j’s Lochlan Watt selecting the tune as his favourite track uploaded to Unearthed that year. Their 2021 EP, ‘Purgatory;’ produced by Chis Lalic (Windwaker, Rumours, Days Like These). was met with critical acclaim with NME declaring, “This five-track project is filled with gut-punch riffs, powerful vocals and propulsive blast beats.” 2022 saw the release of single Sugar, a sweet and unhinged tune the four-piece took like across the country on tour with heavyweights, Black Veil Brides (USA), nu-metal icons Sunk Loto, Dayseeker (USA), Paledusk (JPN), The Getaway Plan and more. Burn It Down is OUT NOW!
