In 2011, 5 music students banded together to form the Later Dates. Originally, The Later dates formed as an accompaniment to singer/ songwriter samantha Perren as a part of her final Year assessment. However, After an enigmatic first gig at “the zoo” in brisbane’s Fortitude valley, they decided that their unique blend of genres, catchy pop-rock sound and Youthful appeal was too good to leave as a once off event. From that day on The Later Dates have continued to spread their musical joy around the local brisbane music scene. In November 2012 they launched their debut EP "All Along".
