I do not see a lot of difference between fact and fiction. Thus I will not vouch for the accuracy of anything that follows. The picture is not a photograph. Musical influences: JS Bach is the main man in music, Ludwig and Amadeus notwithstanding. In jazz, Ornette Coleman stands out. Songwriters who have had some impact on me include Gordon Lightfoot, Jah Wobble and Tupac Shakir. Resume: part time pub musician and long time song writer. Three self produced albums with sales measured in the dozens. Most of those sales are to other songwriters in Canada and USA. World view: deeply cynical about the activities of the powerful, skeptical about the motives of the wealthy, and suspicious of those who promote leadership as something admirable in a person. Musical view: My aim is to make the extra-ordinary sound ordinary, I lack motive for the reverse. Pet hate: politicians who talk about ordinary Australians, when, in fact the only thing ordinary about this country is its political leadership.
