A devastating-yet-friendly duo composed of Mike and Gus from Battlesnake (and ex-Silvermine Tapes, Happypatch, etc). Armed with a guitar tuning the Velvet Underground threw away because it broke too many guitars, and a drum setup the Jesus and Mary Chain didn't have the patience to stick with, The Leafs cram 20 blisteringly enjoyable pop songs into 30 minutes. The Leafs strive to distill songs to their essence, cutting out all the boring bits. These little fragments make up an alternate universe full of bees, cities, captains and space.
