"The Lexies look like a bunch of indie kids. Young indie kids, with white shirts and singer in a vest. So you would expect poppy songs. Instead out pours a galloping hard rock song. Appearances deceive. Really energetic, the bass player bending like an eraser, the singer up on the foldback wedges. Then the next song is a funky kind of number. Assured playing from a young band. Devils music from the mouths of babes. The Vines come to mind. Sneering vocals, a bit whiny. Nirvana as well, maybe they should wear flannies!!! They cover Beds are Burning by The Oils.
