The Lillies are a band in which available ears are eager to throw comparisons. In the spectrum that lies between raw near/ avant-garde tumble of a band like The Velvet Underground and the lush but commercial testament of a band like U2 these ears tends to categorize The Lillies. While the space between is far too wide, The Lillies approach to art is just as wide. Heavily rooted in fhe Blues, although that may not be apparent, The Lillies have a natural desire to have their own voice. As they gained their sound and creativity the band found opportunity’s that lead them to have the pleasure to share the stage with A Flock of Seagulls, The Winery Dogs, and Lee Rocker. The band was also recently recognized for their efforts in music in the Inland Empire as they were named best performing artist by IE Trax.
