Edit history

Australian punk rock band The Lizards have been a mainstay in the underground punk scene for the last decade. Forming in Adelaide South Australia in 2012, the 3 piece brought together a common appreciation for fast high energy music and set about creating their own brand of punk rock mayhem, drawing on elements of thrash, hardcore and alternative music. Through a couple lineup changes, 4 albums and years of playing shows at home and around the country, the lads have enjoyed the bands life and continue to move forward with innovation, pushing boundaries for themselves and the genre. As they work towards the completion of their 5th studio album, their new single “Directions” gives a fine indication of their evolution with a driving hardcore sound and melodic vocal delivery. Album number 5 is due for release in the later half of 2024.
