Sydney's lockout laws are an unnecessary embarrassment that don't solve the real violence problems. So when it came time to make some noise about it, there was only one option for a name: The Lock Outlaws. The gimmick is that the band will break up when the laws are gone - so if you like the band, support our cause and help us break up. If you hate the band, just help us get rid of the lockouts and we promise we will cease to exist. If that hook sounds familiar, it's because of the success and widespread press we had with last year's Until Abbott Gets Gone - it only took two singles for the PM to resign, and the band broke up. This is the next instalment in a series of single issue protest bands. The band is Joe Gould (Crooked Fiddle Band, Caitlin Park) and Leroy Lee.
