Australian post punk outfit The Lonesomes return to their roots with ‘Black and Blue’. The Lonesomes return with ‘Black and Blue’. It is a raw, high voltage track that sees the band reconnecting with the chaotic edge that first defined them. The release arrives with high speed visuals showing the band performing in the back of a semi trailer with the doors wide open, travelling down a highway while one member rides a dirt bike alongside and another hangs out the back. The visuals set the tone straight away. They feel reckless, urgent and unrestrained, which matches the energy of the song. Known for chaotic live shows and strong on stage intensity, The Lonesomes have built a reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting emerging post punk acts. They have shared stages with The Chats, Bad Dreems, Dune Rats and Gut Health, and continue to build momentum with more shows and festival appearances around the country.
