LOST investigates the sublime twilight of the human psyche, producing a dark, but chilled out musical collage. Inspired by such bands as Delerium, The Orb, Zen Paradox, Pete Namlook and the Matsuri Label, LOST is perfect for a bit of dark introspection. Featuring live diced up audio, classical guitar, gated pads and some of the most complex and twisted synthesis architectures that is possible with today's electronic hardware, LOST like to push their gear over the edge to create new sound textures. LOST's music is written for audiophile who appreciates the subtlety possible with today's high quality recording equipment. LOST strives to create beautiful musical soundscapes that you can visit over and over again and discover something new each time you listen.

Formed in 2012, The Lost is an Alternative-Rock band from Melbourne, Australia. With a sound that has drawn comparisons to Saosin, Anberlin, Sleeping with Sirens and The Getaway Plan, The Lost brings a unique mix of soaring melodies, crushing guitars, technical drums and hooks that will get stuck in your head for days. Fresh off recording their debut EP at Loose Stones Studios, The Lost have just released their first single “Wake Up”, and are gearing up to bring their energetic and unforgettable live show to the people. The self-titled EP, mixed by JR McNeely (Anberlin, Paramore, Underoath) and mastered by Grammy Award Winner Ted Jensen (Muse, Green Day, Bring Me The Horizon), also features Luke Williams from Australian Prog-Rock giants Dead Letter Circus on drums. With the EP slated for release in the coming months, and a high energy live set that cannot be missed, it is only a matter of time before The Lost is launched to the forefront of Melbourne's Alt-Rock scene.
Hey, we are .The Lost. and we are a school band based on the Yorke Penisula in SA. We all attend the same school and spend our lunch times jamming in our school music room. Without music we would be "Lost." This band includes 4 students and our 2 awesome mentors. The students in the band are Stacey Searle and Taylor Wallace (Singers), Jay Edwards (Drummer), and Bryce Hamdorf (Guitarist). Our aweosme mentors are Aaron Nash and Steve McNeair. Together we have written and produced the first song we have ever done as a group, "Nowhere to hide".
