"The Band Who Knew Too Much" Fuelled by Chateau Rotgut and a dedication to Alfred Hitchcock, the MacGuffins formed in Sydney in 2020. Composed of ex-members of Gravel, Flipped Out Kicks, The Lovely Assistants, Ugly Ugly Ugly and Les Goolies, they set about quietly making plans and raucously making music. Allergic to covers, their original repertoire embraces swamp-rock, espionage soundtracks, spaghetti western, psychedelia and glam-punk (whatever that is). With band members in Sydney and Adelaide, and tentacles reaching into Melbourne, The MacGuffins have wowed audiences across three states. The MacGuffins: they’re what everybody’s after.
