There's little to say, really, about Newcastle's favourite sons to-be, "The Mad Ones" as they've only played a handful of shows and attracted even less attention to themselves. Nonetheless, with a music scene the size of Newcastle's it was inevitable that at some stage, these four young heroes would meet and form a band, because everybody knows, everybody knows everybody else. Musically, the songs are riff based with attempts at pop vocal melodies and harmonies. Lyrically, the subject matter is almost always incorporating some element of exasperation for Newcastle's plebeian-ridden social scene, plain lack of anything to do and of course, women.
