Swinging wildly from tender croon to demented howl, The new-look Maladies are a bratty trouble-making mongrel that refuses classification. Tightly organised, electro-noise punk arrangements pummel into country-soul vocals and erratic bursts of pure joyous noise. "The Maladies showed they are yet another chapter in the history of a particular brand of Australian music that has spawned Nick Cave, Warren Ellis, The Saints, Beasts of Bourbon and The Scientists." - Chris Familton -Faster Louder.
