The Megahorns play an all-original blend of New Orleans street beat and hip hop, with a hint of big band straight from the roaring 20s. Started in Melbourne in 2006, this 8 piece brass band has had people jumpin' and jivin' across the country, sharing the stage with the likes of The Cat Empire, Clare Bowditch, TZU, LABJACD and even Mental As Anything. With their recent EP "Vol. One" getting some playtime on Triple J and a sold out CD launch in Melbourne, things are starting to happen for this former high school jazz band. From Sydney to Adelaide, grandmas to front bars, audiences agree The Megahorns know how to get the party started so don't forget your dancing shoes!
