The Meridian Suns are a four piece pop blues band from Melbourne. With tracks sounding like a mix between Missy Higgins, KT Tunstall and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Despite them being a four piece, the band play multiple instruments live and offer a fun experience for everyone attending! Whilst their genre could be categorised as Pop Blues there are also elements of rock, jazz and hip hop in their tracks. The bands members cut their teeth through the Australian festival and live Melbourne music scenes in bands such as Finesse, San Sakaar, First Light, The Jaimz Project and Yeah Bad?. The Meridian Suns members had gained close to a decade’s worth of performance experience before forming the band in 2018. Due to the collaborative nature of their songwriting process there is a mixture of genres influencing their sound. With influences coming from artists such as Chris Stapleton, KT Tunstall, Toby Mac and Missy Higgins and bands like the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Linkin Park. The
