Gold Coast based three piece ‘The Moonlight Society’ have been sitting on ice for almost a year now. Each member with a side project or two up his sleeve, The Trio Have sprung to life with their debut Single ‘Down the Road’. Drawing influence from big name acts such as Queens of the Stone Age and the Pixies Lead singer (and only Guitarist) Jasper McLaren credits his songwriting skills with driving guitar licks and swooning vocal hooks. Without a defining genre, the super group continue writing and recording, determined to leave their Big Fat, Distorted, Swampy stamp on anything they touch.
