The Nail Factory are a brand established in Perth, Western Australia in 1973 and produce a range of high quality marketable products throughout the Asia Pacific. The Nail Factory also produce a range of lower quality, less marketable products, among them being a factory of custom-picked musicians who collaborate to suit the event they are to play. Band members from the hosting country are picked on arrival with only Nails and Electrolicious making up the solid core outfit. What results is a cross-platform of cultures combining on pre-written songs to output a magical flavour of instruments, talents and creative inputs that are totally different from country to country and gig to gig. From World Music Festivals in Fiji and India, Taiwan to Europe, The Nail Factory has left people not knowing what to expect, when to expect them and at the end of the day, in a joyful state of confusion.
