"...The Night Party is soul stripped back to its bare essentials." (Patrick Emery, Mess & Noise) "...fresh, original rock and roll at its best." (Tex Miller, Forte Magazine) The Night Party started out a few years back as fresh song-writing project for Rick Sands (The Palms, Odette, Sand Brothers) and Buck Lexton (Boss Cuts, South of Nowhere, Six Feet). With minimal instrumentation, the duo cook up a wild spread of sounds, having imbibed a diverse cocktail of influences over their fifteen-year musical partnership. The pair have evolved into a rollicking and raw live outfit. Their sound described by one fan as being something like "...the early Stones covering Guided By Voices in a Mussel Shoals juke-joint”. The band continues to knock together their forthcoming debut album Get To You at A Secret Location. The album was released in early 2014 to positive reviews. They are currently recording material for their follow up album.
