Nits is a solo artist who records on his laptop after too many beers. He used to play with Siberian Special Forces and The Pokies - both awesome bands. There aren't any rules with Nits, and there aren't too many takes either. If you want musical perfection then Nits will leave you scratching your head, but if you want awesome songs then Nits will pleasantly itch your scalp.

The Nits are an indie pop rock band based in Byron Bay New South Wales. The band have built their own recording studio in the heart of Byron Bay and have collaborated on an albums worth of music soon to be released. The music ranges from mellow to pumping stadium rock music. The band met in Byron Bay through jamming at the local Byron venue 'The Northern' gaining a fortnightly residency. The Nits are a combination of influences , experimenting and improvising with sounds and riffs and also developing hooks around pop sensibilities. They are currently launching a string of singles in anticipation of their debut album release later on this year.
