Like a broken mirror reflecting the distorted visage of humanity, the O'toole Project's music is a raw and touching portrait of the present human condition. Filled with a heady cocktail of anguish, hope, warmth, anger, compassion and old-fashioned grunt, this seminal band captures perfectly the essence of our troubled age. In May 2013, O'toole released their long-promised masterpiece, 'Frankenstein's OJ', a full-fledged concept album about disgraced sports star, OJ Simpson. Prepare your soul. The album is a Sunday morning hell-ride through the dark side of the American dream. Told through the central motif of the Simpson murder case, the album is at once an exploration of monsters, sport, capitalism and a world seduced by greed and desire. Shall we judge the monster or the monster who created him?
