The Obvious Fire (TOF) is a Newtown based band that has been playing prominant live venues around Sydney for the last six years. They have played festivals such as the Gravity Games Festival (Perth) and the Surry Hills Festival, as well as playing repeated headline shows at venues such as the Annandale Hotel, the Basement, the Hopetoun Hotel and Lansdowne. Recently, the band has been in the studio working on their second album with which they present a new style of old school rock that will leave your hair standing on end!! Over the course of six years, the band has managed to defy classification, having delved into genres such as funk, rock, blues and jazz. The latest incarnation is more hard-hitting than before, and comes with a far different message and passion than for what it was previously known. It is the unexpected, dramatic and creative that The Obvious Fire thrive on. The listener will be taken on a journey that can sometimes be rough and violent and other times be soft
