Brisbane based 18-year-old The One Devoy is quickly making a name for himself as one of Australia’s best and brightest emerging hip hop exports. Blending elements of rock and hip hop into a melodic fusion new wave sound, Devoy excels as a seemingly advanced storyteller. Well versed in classical instruments like the piano, guitar and violin he draws heavy inspiration from the likes of Tuxx, Iann Dior, Juice Wrld and Lil Tjay to create an introspective and emotive take on an often brazen genre. His first offering titled In My Head, gained industry wide praise and the basis of a loyal fan base, clocking over 10,000 streams, and added to high profile playlists like AU Cash Radio since its release. He quickly followed on with another release titled Where You Going ft NIFFD, showcasing his melodic range which was rapidly gaining more attention, bringing in another 10,000 streams on Spotify alone.
