The Original Cutouts are four new and vintage musicians pushing old-time, roots and original music through a garage and electric junk filter. From a recent review... "The Original Cutouts from Tasmania could not get farther from their roots geographically and stay on the planet, but musically they have done the nearly impossible and combined disparate elements of Afro-American culture and Tasmaniana into an amazing believable racket. The overarching sound is blues based but throughout you can hear the sensibilities inherent in Hillbilly, Appalachian, Early Country, Rockabilly and Jug-based material."
